So how is your vision? I'm not talking about optically. I'm referring to your destination in life. Do you know where you're going? What you're going to do? Your TRUE purpose? We all have a purpose. Ultimately we where created to achieve something before moving on. That dash you see between someone's sunrise & sunset on the headstone represents their purpose. As the saying goes, the grave is full of potential, would of, should of, could of, but ultimately didn't. It's up to you to be sure your dash was/is not one representing potential.
What is vision exactly? Well, the dictionary defines vision as, "the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be: prophetic vision, the vision of entrepreneur." I can respect that! However, I believe that whatever God says will come to pass, so I would omit the or may.
What you need to understand is that the "or may" portion will only occur if you live your life having to, "see it before you believe it", instead of "believing it before you see it." Why would you need to believe something if you can already see it? Are you unsure of your optical vision?
I know some of you may not grasp this, however, my prayer is that you open your mind and try to see that there's more to life than what you're living. In order to reach your destiny you will have to WORK for it. Don't allow the lifestyles of some "instant celebrities" fool you into thinking that it's as easy as appearing on a reality show. It's not! Someone had a vision, a purpose, and a plan to execute!
If you really think about it, there is something you are really good at, that comes naturally. That may be your purpose. Think about what that is and contemplate how you could use your natural talent to fulfill the vision/destiny that was put on your life, long before you was born. I didn't realize I was destined to be a photographer until years after graduating from college with a degree in accounting! As I think back about it, I dropped photography as an high school elective because I didn't want to take pictures with a shoebox that had a pinhole in it! So I followed what my counselor said I should do because I was good at math and I picked up on the accounting concepts quickly. I wasted 2 ½yrs of college pursuing someone else purpose, it wasn't mine. Had I not realized my purpose, my dash may have represented potential.
You don't have to have this HUGE revelation to recognize your purpose. However, as my Bishop, so eloquently put it, "You must have PREVISION before you get PROVISION." In other words, you must BELIEVE it before you can RECEIVE it!! Get it now?!?!

| 2015 Vision Board |
The above is the actual picture of my vision board for 2015. I first learned about doing a vision board and about the law of attraction from a young woman that was destined to be a talk show host. She showed me her board and told me of how some of her visions have already occurred due to the law of attraction. Guess what? That young woman currently has her own talk show here in Atlanta, you may have heard of her, Talking with Tami. Tami, whether she realizes it or not, had, almost 5yrs ago, cracked open the door of my purpose and allowed me to believe it before I receive it! So Tami, if you're reading this, I truly thank you!
Your vision board can be anything you want it to be. There is no need to run out and but a cork board like I did, you can use a poster board from any department store. I chose a cork board because I want to be able to remove the items as they come to fruition and place new ones up at the beginning of each year. I noticed after finishing my board that it was, 1) filled with a lot of inspirational quotes. Im a huge fan of speaking life over myself & others and 2) I subconsciously grouped them in sections, like health, wealth, travel, career, & spiritual wellbeing. I have since modified my board to really group them in categories. Most of the things on my board, I printed from my computer, others are from magazines. Just make it your own. In the top right corner I printed out the scripture from Habakkuk 2:2 (one I've followed for years), it says, "Then the Lord replied: 'Write down the revelation [vision] and make it plain on tablets so that a herald [men] may run with it.'" That's what my vision board is, it's my tablet, made simple, so that anyone viewing it can plainly see what I am working towards for this year.
Achieving your vision will not be easy. If it was the grave would be filled more with achievers then potential achievers. I encourage you to start now, no matter your age. Do whatever it takes (legally & morally) to achieve your purpose. It all starts with you believing then receiving. Let's make that dash count for something. Be Blessed! Smooches! L
