Happy New Year my Loves!!! Hey give me a break, it's still January (barely) lol!!! This year has proven to be a fulfilling one thus far.
First up, I bring you beauty, fashion, and celebrity all in one. Saturday night in Atlanta was so bright with all the goings on that you had to put your shades on, and if they are from actress/model Eva Marcille's new eyewear line, First Ave By Eva Marcille, than you are way ahead of others for the summer.
I had the privilege to attend the product launch with fellow media and bloggers as we mixed and mingled with the industry's movers and shakers in celebrations of Eva's eyewear line. This event was held in one of Atl's posh Meiko Lounge. Models, dawned some of the pieces from the line and I also got the opportunity to try on a pair or two. They are, as expected very chic and also very affordable with price points as low as $69. Which would explain why they sold like hotcakes. In hindsight I should have snatch up a pair for myself.
The red carpet was on fire all night as the likes of Tiffany Williams, founder of Eye Candy Creations (who also partnered with Rolling Out magazine to host the event), and other sponsor such as, Legend Peach Falsetto and Hatfield & McCoy, both whom also provided liquor for the event, along with Tiny Tequilla. Guest also included singer Kamal, CheMinistry creator Chanel Nicole Scott, and a host of other movers and shakers in Atlanta.
The event turned out to be an amazing one as the liquor flowed, music kept the crowd moving, and the red carpet was graced with beauty, style, and the industry's finest. All in all this girl left smiling! Want to know where you can get your hands on a pair of Eva's chic shades? Well I guess we all will have to wait and see. Sources tell me that they will be having several launches in selected cities with the next launch being in NYC during Fashion Week. Although if you're going to the Super Bowl they will be having a pop up shop. Pick me up a pair while you're at it!
